The French soccer team have been spotted riding KTM mountain bikes as part of their cross-training for the World Cup.

We all know the benefits of cycling, but it's great to see the French soccer team cycle regularly as part of their cross-training. Riding KTM bicycles, the team were recently spotted in Reunion at a training camp as preparation for the World Cup. They were often spotted on their bikes in a training session classed as "relaxation for the muscles". Depending on their programme, the team cycles for up to an hour at a time. On one of the training rides, forward player, Nicolas Anelka had a fall, but was not injured (pictured below).

The team have got also KTM bicycles to ride whilst at their base at Pezula here in South Africa too. Although unlike in Reunion, no-one has had the pleasure of seeing them in action, let alone on their bikes.

They might not be the friendliest team (apparently), but anyone who rides bicycles gets our thumbs up.
